Anthem-Freedom Project

Anthem-Freedom is a 423-acre master-planned community located in Mountain City, Hays County, Texas, within the Anthem Municipal Utility District. The development consists of two sections—Anthem (202 acres, 590 single-family lots) and Freedom (221 acres, 879 single-family lots). The project includes Jim Cullen Elementary School (opened Fall 2024), four parks, a 4.4-acre central park with an amenity center (opened April 2023), and approximately 74 acres of open space. The project is being developed by Clark Wilson (“Kyle 150 LP”), with Landsea Homes acquiring and developing the Freedom section. At the time of issuance 100% of the residential units were closed to homebuilders, 82% of public improvements were complete, and $53.6M in outstanding eligible infrastructure expenses.
